About Us

Removing dependence on individual expertise — transforming Japan's incident response through technology and systematization.

Mission

Fundamentally transform Japan's incident response capabilities in cybersecurity.

Vision

Systematize incident response techniques and enable automation. By developing talent and achieving scale, we resolve the imbalance between cybercriminals and responders in Japan.

Who we are

Securious Lab G.K. was established in 2026 by founder Yamada and colleagues, drawing on extensive DFIR experience. We aim to resolve Japan's critical shortage of incident response personnel and eliminate dependence on individual expertise.

Founder

Masahiro Yamada

Masahiro Yamada

Founder & CEO

A specialist in digital forensics & incident response (DFIR) and threat intelligence. Over more than 15 years, his career spans R&D of cyberattack-detection technology at Fujitsu; becoming the first Japanese incident response consultant at the global security vendor Mandiant (now Google); launching a threat-intelligence research team at a domestic startup; establishing the CSIRT at Mercari; and serving as Northeast Asia Director at the DFIR-focused vendor Blackpanda. From an era when the term "incident response" was not yet widely known, he handled numerous cyber incidents — including state-sponsored targeted attacks and ransomware — and came to recognize Japan's serious shortage of incident response talent and the over-reliance on individual expertise. He founded Securious Lab to address these challenges through the systematization and automation of incident response techniques.
